Amalia Home Collection's Sereno collection brings a clean, modern line to the bed with its double satin stitch. Woven as a 700-thread-count sateen from Giza 92 Egyptian cotton, this duvet cover has a smooth, cool hand, a soft sheen and a fluid drape.
A double satin stitch traces a U-shape across the top of the cover. It dresses the bed in a single, clean layer and pairs with the matching sheets and shams. Offered in White, White Cool Grey, White Midnight, White Verbena and White Lemonade. Made in Portugal.

The Art of Sateen
Sateen is woven so that most of the yarn floats on the face of the cloth, passing over several threads before dipping under one. The result is a surface that catches light and feels smooth rather than crisp. Its quality depends on the yarn: Giza 92, an extra-long-staple Egyptian cotton, spins into a fine, even thread that keeps the face of a high-thread-count sateen smooth and lustrous wash after wash.
