Policy Overview
At Vellum Bedding, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We understand that buying premium bedding is an investment, and we're committed to making your experience as smooth and worry-free as possible. If something isn't quite right, we're here to help.
Return & Exchange Eligibility
To qualify for a return or exchange, items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags and packaging intact. We cannot accept returns on items that have been opened, used, or altered in any way due to the personal nature of bedding products. This helps us maintain the quality standards our customers expect.
Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange. We recommend inspecting your order as soon as it arrives to ensure everything meets your expectations. Returns requested after this window cannot be accommodated.
Return Shipping Responsibility
For standard returns initiated by the customer (such as change of mind, wrong size ordered, or preference-based returns), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining your receipt, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit back to us.
How to Start a Return or Exchange (RMA Process)
Before sending anything back, please contact our support team to receive return authorization. Email us at support@vellumbedding.com with your order number, the item(s) you'd like to return or exchange, and a brief reason. We'll provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions on where to send your return. Please do not ship items back without an RMA number, as unauthorized returns may not be processed.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us immediately at support@vellumbedding.com with photos of the issue. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we'll make it right quickly.
Cancellations
Orders can be canceled free of charge if they have not yet entered the processing or shipping stage. Once an order has been processed or shipped, standard return procedures apply. To request a cancellation, email support@vellumbedding.com as soon as possible with your order number.
Refund Processing Time
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we'll process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the credit to appear in your account.
Our Error vs. Customer-Initiated Returns
If we made a mistake — such as shipping the wrong item, a defective product, or a damaged order — we cover all return shipping costs and process your replacement or refund immediately. For customer-initiated returns (change of mind, sizing preference, etc.), return shipping is the customer's responsibility, and the item must meet all eligibility requirements.
Exchanges Process
We're happy to facilitate exchanges for size, color, or style when inventory is available. Contact us at support@vellumbedding.com to confirm availability before returning your original item. Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll ship your exchange item promptly. Exchange shipping fees follow the same guidelines as returns.
