Amalia Home Collection's Sonia collection pairs classic tailoring with delicate lace. Woven as a 430-thread-count sateen from Giza 94 Egyptian cotton, this boudoir sham has a smooth, cool hand, a soft sheen and a fluid drape.
A flange trimmed with delicate lace frames all four sides. The small, rectangular boudoir sham adds a final accent at the front of the bed, layered in front of shams and Euro shams. Offered in White Pale Grey, White Ice, White Pewter and White Terracotta. Made in Portugal.

The Art of Lace Trim
Lace is an openwork textile in which the pattern is formed by the spaces between the threads rather than by a woven ground. Applied as a trim along the edge of fine sateen, it adds a delicate, light-catching border that contrasts with the smooth, closed face of the cotton. Because it is sewn onto the finished piece, the lace frames the bedding without changing the hand of the fabric you sleep on.
