Description
Amalia Home Collection's Sonata collection takes its rhythm from the structure of the musical sonata. Woven as a 430-thread-count sateen from Giza 94 Egyptian cotton, this flat sheet has a smooth, cool hand, a soft sheen and a fluid drape.
An applied triple ribbon runs along the hem at the top of the sheet. The finished edge shows to best effect when the sheet is turned down over a blanket or duvet. Offered in White/Sand, White/Dark Grey, White/Midnight, Sand/White and Verbena/White. Made in Portugal.

The Art of Applied Ribbon Trim
An applied ribbon is a separate band of woven trim stitched onto the finished cloth, rather than a pattern printed or woven into it. Because it is built up in layers, it gives a crisp, slightly raised line that frames the bed with a tailored, architectural look. Set against Giza 94 sateen, the contrast between matte trim and soft sheen is what makes the detail read so clearly.
