Description
Amalia Home Collection's Savia collection pairs a clean, quilted line with a subtle sheen. Made from a 300-thread-count sateen of viscose made from bamboo, quilted over a polyester filling, this quilted sham has a smooth hand, a delicate sheen and light, quilted warmth.
A refined, simple hem finishes the edges, with an envelope closure. It dresses the pillows at the head of the bed and pairs with the matching quilted coverlet. Offered in Cream and Pale Grey. Made in Portugal.

The Art of Quilted Sateen
Sateen is woven so that most of the yarn floats on the face of the cloth, passing over several threads before dipping under one, which gives a smooth surface and a soft sheen. Viscose made from bamboo is regenerated from bamboo pulp and spun into a fine yarn, which brings a fluid, silky hand to that weave. Quilting holds the sateen to a light filling so the warmth stays evenly spread and each piece keeps its shape.
