Description
Amalia Home Collection's Maia collection brings the natural texture of linen to a relaxed, quietly tailored bed. Cut from European linen and stonewashed after weaving, these shams have an airy, naturally textured hand that breathes freely.
A fine hemstitch finishes one side of each sham. They dress the pillows at the head of the bed, layered in front of sleeping pillows. Sold as a pair, in White, Vanilla, Verbena, Sage, Pink, Sand and Slate. Made in Portugal.

The Art of Stonewashed Linen
Linen is spun from the long fibers of the flax plant, which give it strength, a cool touch and a natural ability to release moisture, so it sleeps comfortably in warm weather and cool. Stonewashing tumbles the finished cloth until the fibers relax, removing the stiffness new linen can have and giving it the softness that otherwise comes only with years of use. It continues to soften with every wash.
