Amalia Home Collection's Infantas collection takes its playful, colorful print from the landscape around Monte da Penha. Woven as a 430-thread-count printed sateen from Giza 94 Egyptian cotton, this boudoir sham has a smooth, cool hand, a soft sheen and a fluid drape.

The print runs across both sides, framed by a flange and piping on all four sides. The small, rectangular boudoir sham adds a final accent at the front of the bed, layered in front of shams and Euro shams. Offered in White and Pastel Blue.

The Art of Printed Sateen

Sateen is woven so that most of the yarn floats on the face of the cloth, passing over several threads before dipping under one, which gives a surface that is smooth to the touch and softly lustrous. That smooth, closely woven face is also an ideal ground for printing, holding fine lines and soft color gradations crisply. Woven from long-staple Giza 94 Egyptian cotton, the cloth stays soft and resists pilling as it is laundered.
