Description
Amalia Home Collection's Sagres collection is defined by a subtle square jacquard that pays tribute to Portuguese heritage. Woven as a 400-thread-count jacquard from Giza 92 Egyptian cotton, these pillowcases have a soft, breathable hand with a pattern woven into the cloth.
A flange with a simple hem frames all four sides of each pillowcase. They put the fabric's finish exactly where you rest each night. Sold as a pair, in White. Made in Portugal.

The Art of Jacquard
On a jacquard loom each warp thread can be raised independently, so a pattern is woven into the structure of the cloth rather than printed on its surface. The design will not fade or wash out, and the interplay of raised and recessed areas gives the fabric depth and texture. Woven from extra-long-staple Giza 92 cotton, the pattern stays crisp and the surface stays smooth.
