Amalia Home Collection's Lusitano collection draws on Portugal's long nautical heritage. Woven as a 430-thread-count sateen from Giza 94 Egyptian cotton, this boudoir sham has a smooth, cool hand, a soft sheen and a fluid drape.
An applied double ribbon crosses the face of the sham, a nod to nautical precision. The small, rectangular boudoir sham adds a final accent at the front of the bed, layered in front of shams and Euro shams. Offered in White/Caqui, White/Cool Grey and White/Midnight. Made in Portugal.

The Art of Applied Ribbon Trim
An applied ribbon is a separate band of woven trim stitched onto the finished cloth, rather than a pattern printed or woven into it. Because it is built up in layers, it gives a crisp, slightly raised line that frames the bed with a tailored, architectural look.
