Amalia Home Collection's Cirrus collection is inspired by the feeling of sleeping on a cloud. With a 100% cotton velvet face and a reverse of 430-thread-count Giza 94 Egyptian cotton sateen, this bedspread has a plush, deep pile and a cool, silky side beneath.
A flange with double stitching and an applied sateen border frames all four sides. It works as a light top layer on its own or folded at the foot of the bed over a duvet. Offered in White, Sand and Navy. Made in Portugal.

The Art of Cotton Velvet
Velvet is woven with an extra set of yarns that form loops on the face of the cloth; the loops are then cut to create a dense, upright pile. That pile gives cotton velvet its plush hand and the way its color deepens as light moves across it. Backed here with smooth Giza 94 Egyptian cotton sateen, it pairs a sumptuous face with a cool, silky reverse.
